What Parents Are Saying About Us!
Does your student:
Skip words or parts of words?
Confuse the sounds of letters?
Guess words or make up words that aren’t there?
Avoid reading?
Cannot explain in their own words what words or sentences mean?
Struggle to remember or understand stories they read?
Lacks confidence when reading?
Show signs of dyslexia?
Around two-thirds of 12th graders cannot read proficiently and most resources stop helping children around 3rd grade. We aim to fix that.
By treating our students as future adults, we can prepare them to understand the world through reading. Many children and teens feel lost and are confused by the world. When they struggle with reading it compounds these issues by removing one of the most efficient and easiest ways to understand the world and learn about in depth topics. Whether a student wants to be a future engineer, scientist, medical professional, or something else entirely, they will need to not only be able to read, but understand what they read. If not, then they won’t be able to be the best that they can be. Our goal is to give them these reading skills as quickly as possible.
