Jackie is the owner and lead teacher of Sure Foundation Reading. She wants to find out what issues your student(s) are having. Are they skipping words? Do they Skip Lines? Do they struggle pronouncing words? Or maybe they don’t understand what they read. There’s many things that they might be struggling with. Her goal is to understand your concerns and give you a path forward to accomplish your reading goals for them.

Our Promise
We know that being a parent is tough. We have seen parents struggle with feelings of guilt, frustration, and feeling like failures as parents because their kids never learned to read. It's perfectly normal to feel this way, and we understand these difficulties. We also know that with so many options out there, it is overwhelming to decide what is best for you and your family. Financial commitments can be daunting, and gambling on expensive services, especially if it doesn't work, is a risk no one wants to take. Because of this, we make a promise to the families that use our services.

At our free consultation, we will determine the specific goals that we will focus on for your kids and how we can get them there. We know that being a parent is tough; we are here to make it a little bit easier.
Prepayment is required for this promise.
Story Time
3 Hours a week
Many kids and teens struggle with reading because they haven't learned to understand what they read or listen to. If your student has trouble focusing or can't recall what they just read, this is a great place to start. We'll read fun books together and teach them how to understand the stories and ask questions when needed.
Beginning Phonics Class
50 minute classes - 5 days a week
In this class we focus on phonetics and how they work. Often times kids will skip words, guess them, or replace them if they never learned phonetics or they rely on sight words. This class will help break those habits. Most kids will be in the class for a few weeks before moving onto the Applied Phonetics class.
Reading Class
50 minute classes - 5 days a week
In this class we apply what we learned in the Beginning with Phonetics class and read the Declaration of Independence. If they learn to read the Declaration then they have the skills necessary to read anything else. We also teach how to look up and understand historical context and words. This is where students gain confidence and become independent readers.
PRIVATE TUTORING
$1000 per four weeks - 50 minute sessions - 5 days a week -
This is where we teach everything above, but in a one-on-one setting with one of our teachers. Most students will not need this, but for those who do, we have this specialized offer. Not everyone does well in a class, or perhaps your student needs to learn as fast as possible so they can go back to college with confidence (true story), or maybe they have certain health issues that make classes difficult. Whatever the case is, private tutoring is here for them
